Doug, Laurel, Barb, George, Moreah
Via phone, 6:00 pm  – 7:30 pm

AGENDA

  1. Report from Indee circle (George, with input from Laurel and Moreah)

ITC Discussed:

    • Tithing, connection to CNVC, where the money goes….Same with NCC
    • Web issue. – could donation be tied to level of resource used.
    • General questions/other ideas to raise money besides tithing
    • Ideas for fundraisers were floated.
    • ITC would like some connection and input on how/what decisions are made.
    • Reaction to Social Change component of NVC.  Waiting for MBR’s statement about Social Change before tackling that issue.
  1. TC-ITC June 21 Meeting

Moreah:  ITC not sure if ITC wants  to meet with TC  AND, if they do, meet monthly alternating between  Sunday evening and Thursday afternoon
Laurel:  (1) Wanting more connection between ITC and TC before anything is discussed about volunteering. (2) Confusion about what the needs are of the TC in relation to the ITC, confusion about the power relationship between the TC and the ITC. Why is there even interest in the ITC from the TC? (3) Where does business happen?  Hope is that learning would be a big part of ITC-TC meetings rather than business.
Douglas:  Intent of June 21st meeting is to nurture connection and collaboration
Barbara:  Intent of meeting is to see what support might look like (supporting NVC Trainer Candidates).  First thing suggested for the meeting  would be connection and empathy. Regarding “where business happens”…. The hope is that we would follow what was decided at the Northwest Compassionate Communication retreat i.e. that the Trainers Council has purview over certain decisions.  The hope that at the meeting some things might be worked out around communication – scheduling, etc.
Laurel:  Aware of “rumors”, wondering where they are coming from.
Barbara:  Feeling a bit discouraged, wanting face to face connection. Looking for a way to include everyone..
