Rainier Beach High School (site of Weekend Workshop at 8815 Seward Park Ave S 98118) is about 10 miles from the airport. Motels and eateries are not abundant in the localized area of the workshop. Following are motel options in three areas: (1) SEATAC, (2) the Southcenter Mall area (half way between the airport and Rainier Beach), and (3) Downtown Seattle (in & near downtown -- see map).

(2) Southcenter Mall Area
The mall is half way between the airport and the workshop site in Rainier Beach (8815 Seward Park S). This is a good option if you don't want to stay near the airport; it is closer to the airport than Downtown. Many food options in this area. Courtyard Marriott and Doubletree are across from the Mall.
